Background： Octane number is one of the important quality indexes for FCC gasoline used in automobile. As an active promoter in FCC catalyst, high silica zeolite ZSM-5 possesses excellent selective cracking property, resulting in obvious enhancement of octane number and decreasing the loss of light oil in FCC products。The zeolite with higher silica alumina ratio remain high framework stability for a long time in the treatment with steam at high temperature。)

The data above indicate that the FCC catalyst with 2% of FX-101 type hydrophobic ZSM-5 octane promoter leads to increasing RON, gases products，propylene and butylenes

1.30, 5.5 and 3.26 unit, respectively. As an ideal high efficiency FCC octane promoter, FX-101 added in FCC catalyst results in increase of both gasoline octane number and liquid product yield, and less enhance olefins in gasoline, which is very important for producing clean gasoline in the contrary.
